3D Printing Intermediate
This class focuses on how to design an object for optimal production using a 3D printer. The class includes overviews of Cura, Blender, 3D-Coat, Fusion360 and Meshmixer. Skills taught include optimal use of break away supports, dividing an object into multiple parts, the effect of shells Vs infill percentages, etc. The class includes a hands-on workshop using the Ender-3 3D printer.

About the Instructor:
Dr. Andy Cohen has over 28 years working for Fortune 100 companies as a Systems Engineer, Engineering Manager and Project Manager. While at these companies he employed versions of additive manufacturing for developing detailed prototypes for the Telecommunications, Defense and Aerospace industries. Prior to retirement Andy was the owner and operator of eStuff+ and Sonoma County 3DPrinting. Andy is currently the Producer and Co-host of the 3D Printing Today, currently the most listened to 3D Printing podcast.
